Lingwick loop

Notes: 0-6km road, 6-15km gravel, 15-32km road. Link to Lingwick loop

Short description

This rapid loop leaves Scotsown going West, along route 214. At Canterbury church the route turns right onto a gravel road (Chemin de Canterbury). Note that it is also possible to turn right sooner, on Chemin Gould Station, but views are better from the turn suggested.

The gravel road cuts across to route 108. Traffic on this road is typically quite fast, but the road is also long and straight, with good visibility and a wide enough (if rather cracked) shoulder.

At Gould, turn right onto the recently (I am writing in July 2024) tarmaced route 257 for a ride back through the forest to Scotstown.
