Appendix to ‘Towards a post-Covid geography of economic activity : using probability spaces to decipher Montreal’s changing workscapes

Below is an extract from the instrument used to gather information for this study. Note that question 2.2.a (about time spent performing work-related tasks in the usual place of work) is interpreted in the light of question 2.1.1 which identifies the usual place of work.

If the usual place of work corresponds to a location mention in questions 2.2.b to 2.2.h, then the time mentioned in 2.2.a is reassigned.

PART 2.1: USUAL PLACE OF WORK, PLACE OF RESIDENCE AND TRANSPORT

To begin we will ask questions about your place of work which are like those asked by Statistics Canada for the census.

2.1 Did you have a usual place of work (i.e. a single place where you went to work almost every day, including if this is a vehicle) in February 2020?
